Clark Wakefield Hill is General Manager of the Hilton Naples and Shula’s Steak House. He is a veteran hotelier having managed five full-service hotels, three of which included construction oversight and opening. In addition, he is experienced with development planning and oversight of complete hotel facilities expansion.Hotels under Hill’s direction have earned special designations and have been recognized for a variety of achievements by hospitality industry leadership. Recently Hilton Hotels presented the Hilton Naples with both the Overall Performance Excellence Award and the Eco-Friendly Achievement Award.
Hill is a Past President of the Collier County Lodging & Tourism Alliance. Currently, he is serving a third term on the Collier County Tourist Development Council and is a board member of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and the Education Foundation of Collier County and Chair Elect of the United Way of Collier County.
Hill is credited with founding the Sports Council of Lee County, an organization that attracts amateur sporting events generating millions of dollars for the economy. While working in Lee County, Hotel Management Magazine for five consecutive years ranked his hotel among the top 25 profit generating hotels in the industry (per available room).
Hill studied Business Administration and Industrial Relations at the University of Alabama and is a Certified Hotel Administrator. He has received numerous recognitions, including the Education Foundation’s “Men of Distinction” and the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce’s “Volunteer of the Year”.
